A tool test/rig script for an octopus model. You can choose how 'fine' the bones are, and how many legs are on the octopus. You can move the start/end of the legs before they spawn, and scripts are included.

Octopus Study

This was a study conducted during a graduate course at Texas A&M University. We chose an animal to focus on and create a script or rig that could carry out an animation. I went with an octopus, wanting to try and mimic a more procedural walking animation that we had conducted earlier in the year (see my procedural gait video). I looked at old SIGGRAPH papers, notably for Davy Jones and Edge of Tomorrow.
